Reverend Paul Lam

Reverend Paul Lam was born and raised in the New Jersey/New York City area.  He loves the church and longs for the people of God to flourish.  Paul is an ordained minister of the Canadian Baptists of Ontario and Quebec.  He is passionate about discipleship, spiritual formation, small groups, and mission.  He has a certificate of spiritual transformation from the Transforming Center in Illinois.

With over twenty years of experience in ministry, he served as a discipleship and small groups pastor at Scarborough Chinese Baptist Church, a CBOQ denominational associate, and currently provides interim ministry to churches. He has worked at the Bridge in Markham and, most recently, at Immanuel Baptist Church as their interim pastor.

Paul has trained pastors, leaders, and churches throughout Ontario and Quebec. He is currently pursuing his doctorate in missiology at Northern Seminary.  He enjoys continuous learning, thoughtful reflection, playing basketball, and staying active.

He is married to Lis, a Korean American and together they have three teenage daughters.

Paul is currently serving at Fallingbrook Heights Baptist Church as our interim pastor during the Summer of 2025 as we await the arrival of our new, full-time Pastor.
