Advent – The ‘Everborn’ of Christmas

Today the church hall smells like your grandma’s kitchen; just before Christmas.  We can all smell the Christmas goodies baking.  Yes, Pastor Ken is baking today.  He is Baking ‘Hope’.  This Sunday we celebrate the 4th Sunday of Advent.  After our traditional lighting of the Advent Candle and the appropriate reading from Scripture, Pastor Ken starts baking.

We bake Hope into the meaning of life.  To do so we need many ingredients.  But once mixed and put into the oven, only God know how long it will take to bake. Listen to this week’s podcast – part cooking show, part Sunday sermon – as Pastor Ken bakes up some Hope for us.
