DOXA Day Camps for 2025

Registration Opens March 2, 2025

DOXA Day Camp is dedicated to the care of children and families in Scarborough. Our team of Summer staff work hard to provide a well-rounded program, including sports, arts, experiences and bible lessons, for children entering grades 1-8 in September 2025.

Camp weeks run from July 7 – August 15, 2025 from 9:00am – 3:00pm.
One week of camp is $120.00 per child.

  • Bridletowne Park Church (Warden & Finch)
  • St Andrew’s Presbyterian Church Scarborough (McCowan & Lawrence)
  • St. Clair Evangelical Missionary Church (Victoria Park Ave & St. Clair Ave. East)

Introducing our NEW Specialty Sports Camp:

  • August 5-8, 2025 at Bridletowne Park Church (Warden & Finch)
  • One week of Sports Camp is $170.00 per child.

Easter Celebrations for 2025

  • Palm Sunday – April 13 – at the BCC* – 10:30 am
    • with Pastor Dave Williams
  • Wednesday Prayer – April 16 – Online with Google Meet*** – 10:00 to 11:00 am
  • Holy Week
    • April 17 (Maundy Thursday)
      – No Service at the BCC*.  Please worship at the church of your choice.
    • April 18 (Good Friday)
      – You are invited to attend St. Clair Evangelical Missionary Church**
      Worship at 11:00 am
  • Easter Sunrise Service – April 20 – Rosetta McClain Gardens – 6:15 am
    (A Celebration of the brilliant truth of resurrection)
    Followed by breakfast at the BCC* – 7:30 am
  • Easter Sunday Service – April 20 – at the BCC* – 10:30 am
    • with Pastor Dave Williams

Sunday March 16th – Worship Service Location

UPDATE – Sunday March 16th – Worship Service Location

Updated (March 10) – The City and union have reached a tentative agreement.  There are no strike plans for the immediate future.

We Will Be Worshiping at The Birchmount Community Centre on March 16th.

Join us as we welcome a special guest for the service: Teen Challenge.

Church Membership Classes

February 23, after the church service, we are holding  our first Church Membership Class for this year.

Not sure if membership is right for you?  Talk to Pastor Dave or one of our Deacons.  Come to the first class and ask questions; all the question you want.

Classes will be run by our church Deacons – Evan Wallace and Scott Fraser.

Our Church Song Book

Our Church Song Book

Songs are stories; songs are meaningful.  Do you have a song that’s important and meaningful to you?

We are building a Church Song Book.  Tell our Music Leader (David Park) about your favourite song or a song that is particularly meaningful to you and we will use it in our worship music.  Tell David your story behind that song and why it is important to you and he will share that with the church when we play the song – with your permission, of course.

We’ll try to use one of these special songs each week.  So, contact David after the church service and choose your song.

The 2024 Annual General Meeting (AGM)

The 2024 Annual General Meeting (AGM) is scheduled for Sunday, January 26th, 2025, immediately following the church service. Please save the date—we hope to see everyone there!  Lunch will be provided.

An email will be sent soon, providing information on how to submit a proxy if you cannot attend. However, we strongly encourage in-person attendance if possible.

To help streamline the meeting, we will also send out the 2023 AGM minutes ahead of time for your review. Taking a moment to go through them beforehand will ensure our discussions move along more efficiently.
