FREE! Christmas carols, crafts for kids and light refreshments in the gym at the Birchmount Community Centre. Hosted by your local church, Fallingbrook Heights Baptist Church – The Church at the Centre.
Crafts for Kids
Your children will love making a Christmas themed craft with our skilled volunteers. All the festivities are taking place in the gym at the Birchmount Community Centre, so while you’re visiting with friends and meeting your neighbours, your children will be on the other side of the divider in the gym making a craft (perhaps something for the tree at home!). Collect them to get a family photo at the stable or we’ll keep them busy until it’s time for caroling.
Stable selfies!
Made from Ontario barn boards, our stable is about as authentic as it can get. It makes for a great backdrop for caroling and an even better set for family photos. During the craft time, collect your family for a photo in the stable with your phone or camera. If you don’t have time before caroling, we’ll be open afterwards as well.
Caroling
Caroling is about celebrating the Christmas season with song. It’s festive, it’s fun and it’s led by our in-house group of seasoned and skilled musicians. You and your family will enjoy Christmas classics you know and love. Sing along or enjoy the beautiful music. Afterwards, enjoy some light refreshments and if you haven’t had a stable selfie yet, be sure to get one.

Your kids will love making crafts and you’ll have something new for the tree! You’ll have time to find a seat and greet neighbours while our skilled volunteers make a craft with your kids.

Constructed with barn beams from Ontario’s farms, the stable makes for great family photos. After your selfie, lean into the festive spirit and sing along or simply listen and enjoy Christmas carols led by our in-house band.

The Church at the Centre
Our church meets every Sunday in the community centre. You probably hear us singing and laughing together if you’re in the community centre on Sunday morning for swimming lessons or a birthday party.
We’re your neighbours and we gather together to learn more about Jesus and how to better follow what he taught: to love your neighbour like you love yourself.
This is our tenth year of hosting Christmas carols at the community centre and sheepishly, we’ve done a bad job of inviting our neighbours to join in on the festivities.
Your family will have a great time making crafts, singing carols, enjoying some light refreshments, visiting with friends and meeting your neighbours.
