Partnering with Canadian Baptist Ministries

At Fallingbrook Heights Baptist Church at the Centre, we believe in living out our faith by serving those in need, both near and far. One of the key ways we do this is by partnering with Canadian Baptist Ministries (CBM)—a global mission organization dedicated to expressing God’s love through word and deed.

Our Church’s Involvement with CBM

Over the years, members of our church have had the incredible opportunity to participate in mission trips with CBM, traveling to Rwanda and Kenya to support local communities, share the gospel, and assist with development projects.Even when we can’t physically go, we continue to support CBM financially so that their mission work can continue in some of the world’s most vulnerable communities.

Feed a Family Christmas Campaign

In 2020, in addition to our regularly budgeted sponsorship of CBM, our church launched a special Christmas fundraiser called “Feed a Family.” This initiative provided food baskets to families facing hunger in:

  • South Sudan
  • Lebanon
  • Latin America

Through the generosity of our congregation, we raised enough to feed over 30 families! Although we didn’t hold a special fundraiser this past year, we continue to give to CBM through our General Fund, ensuring that support reaches those who need it most.

Why Support CBM?

  • A Global Impact – CBM partners with churches and organizations around the world to provide relief, education, and sustainable development.
  • Faith in Action – Through CBM, we help bring God’s love, hope, and resources to communities in need.
  • A Commitment to Service – By supporting CBM, we answer Jesus’ call to care for the hungry, the poor, and the oppressed.
