Feeding Los Cabos Kids

Feeding Los Cabos Kids is a mission that operates 14 kitchens in Los Cabos Mexico. These kitchens feed children from 1 to 6 days a week and provide about 10,000 meals a month.  In November 2019, Pastor Ken, his wife and some members of our church visited a few of the 14 kitchens. The group from our church helped to serve food and to distribute the donated clothing and school supplies they brought from our church. Our church also provided a financial donation.

Now, with no tourism, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, many more families in Los Cabos are out of work and in need.  All the kitchens are still operational, however, with workers wearing protective masks and gloves and providing meals “to go” in order to comply with social distancing rules.  Please pray for protection from the virus for the families and the volunteers and workers as they continue to meet the needs of the community.

Our church has already committed $1000 CAD this year to support this mission. For Missions Month (May 2020) we have a goal of raising at least $2600, which would be enough to support one kitchen for the next 3 months.
