The Pulse of Love

Today (June 17), Pastor Ken continues his series on Love.  He starts by using a definition of Love by Sheryl Paul, a Marriage Counselor who blogs on the Huffington Post (HuffPost).  Ken selects 7 of the 96 words of love described by Sheryl Paul, to define the pulse of love.  He then moves on to Scripture to describe God’s love – from Deuteronomy 6 and Luke 10.

LOVE: Sheryl Paul, Marriage Counselor, Huffington Post, 7 of the 96 Words for Love:

  • comfort – when you come home at the end of a hard day to a plate of hot food.
  • gratitude – you feel when he attends 12th family gathering of the year.
  • warmth – that comes when you see her across the room and know   that she’s your girl.
  • tingles – you feel from his kiss.
  • trust –  developed from going through a difficult conflict together.
  • awe –  of knowing she “gets” you & you “get” her.
  • joy –  you feel when you listen to your favorite song together or have a blast on the dance floor.
