The Reach

Events and programming for the community, with the community

In 2020, the church voted at the annual general meeting to invest in the lease of a retail space at 1666 Kingston Road. The former sight of the Birchcliff Coffee Bar, it’s location between Birch Cliff Avenue and Avalon Boulevard makes for a highly-trafficked area where Fallingbrook Heights Baptist Church at the Centre can be used for church business and programming and also to offer events and programming for the community.

The Reach

Aptly named, The Reach, its purpose is to give the church a better vehicle to re-imagine and re-envision a deeper relationship with the community.

Church programming such as church council, prayer meetings, mission update events and similar happen at The Reach, but a growing list of programs targeted at the needs of the Birch Cliff community are scheduled as well. Open workspace hours, games nights and support groups have all been planned with an open invitation to the community made.

How to participate

Getting involved in The Reach is really easy. The lowest bar of entry is simply participating in one of the programs happening at The Reach. You can see a list of what’s planned on The Reach website

But why not volunteer to help with one of the existing programs or run your own. If you would like to host an event or run a program, please contact The Reach Booking Committee by email.
