Churches by the Bluffs Food Bank

Churches by the Bluffs Community Services (known as the Bluff’s Food Bank, or BFB) was founded in 2003 by 5 neighbourhood churches, including FHBCatc who decided to work together to do something to address food insecurity in our community.  Since its founding, our church has provided both financial and administrative support.  BFB is 100% volunteer-run and operates out of Birchcliff United Church,  33 East Road, Toronto ON, M1N 1Z9, giving groceries to those who need help.

In 2024, during lent, our church organized a food drive and collected non-perishable food items.  Currently, the food bank is seeking the following items:

1. Soups and stews
2. Cold cereal
3. Canned meat such as chicken, turkey and ham
4. Baked beans
5. Canned pasta such as Chef Boyardee
