Nation At Prayer

Nation At Prayer is led by Mel and Susan Findlay.  Mel and Susan were members of FHBCatc for many years and Mel was Senior Pastor of our church from 1997 to 2008.  For more than 18 years Nation at Prayer continues to witness the impact when the Holy Spirit infuses the lives of elected representatives and the lives of those who lift them in prayer. Refreshing winds of the Holy Spirit are blowing across the nation and around the globe in amazing ways.

Here is an extract from their November 2021 newsletter where they offer the following guidance on how to pray for elected representatives:

WHAT TO PRAY FOR ELECTED REPRESENTATIVES

• Wisdom and discernment
• Integrity and strength of character
• Capacity to understand and manage complex issues and information, and to respond effectively to the challenges of our time
• Clarity, peace of mind and refreshment
• Vitality and endurance
• Health, safety and protection for them and their families
• Courage to do what is right and grace in doing it
