Maundy Thursday (April 1)

It happened at a table! Oh yes, Passover occurred historically in Jerusalem, Thursday Mar 31, 33AD (some scholars, say), but logistically – practically – focally, it occurred at a feast. No simple feast, this event had launched the children of Israel into nationhood some 1300 years earlier.  Passover – the Last supper – Eucharist – LORD’s supper is a profound culmination of 6 covenants into the new covenant in Jesus’ blood.
