Coffee and Conversation – Living with Dementia

Living with Dementia can be challenging both for the person experiencing it and their caregivers. Resources are available but often it can be lonely to live this life.

Coffee and Conversation is a weekly time where people living with Dementia can gather and take part in supervised activities. Lively discussion, crafts, singing and more.

Caregivers can also benefit from spending time with others who are caring for people living with Dementia. During activity time, caregivers have the opportunity to have conversation with other caregivers.

Pat Yuill leads Coffee and Conversation. As a retired registered nurse, Pat’s career spanned 30 years where she has managed nursing homes and dementia units and has been a consultant for nursing home facilities with dementia units. She has also been a counsellor where she helped clients with emotional hardships.

Join Pat on Tuesdays from 10 am to 11:30 am at The Reach. For more information and the regular schedule, visit The Reach website.
